Lexington, Mass.--Paragon Lake, a mass-customization company that provides retailers and consumers a way to design one-of-a-kind jewelry online, has announced 12 winners in its Inspired Design Contest.

According to Paragon Lake, the goal of the contest was to attract top jewelry designers who will inspire the jewelry design community, retailers and consumers with original earring, ring and pendant designs along with the story of their inspiration.

The judging criteria included quality, creativity, manufacturability and the inspirational story behind each unique design.

The contest attracted nearly 200 well-crafted designs from all over the world, Paragon Lake said.

"The response was terrific. The contest was a great opportunity to reward brilliant designers for their jewelry-making skills and contribution to our jewelry design community," Paragon Lake Founder Matt Lauzon said in a media release. "The enthusiasm will be contagious as our retail partners offer new and existing designs to our customers through the Virtual Display Case."
